List of National Parks in India State Wise

One of the most common statistical GK that have come in government job exams is the Important Indian National Park in India. Generally, this is a famous case where a national park is located and what is famous for. India’s first national park is the Jim Corbett National Park in 1935. In 1970 there were five national parks in India. In 1972, the Government of India launched the Wildlife Protection Act and Tiger Project to protect the interests of endangered animals. There are currently 166 national parks in the country. Which is 1.6 percent of India’s total area. Below is a list of the country’s current national parks related to the country.
